Gran Lewing

  Mr. Gran Lewing, 79, of Many, died in his residence in
Lewingtown, on Saturday, Aug. 17, 1985, at 1:30 p.m.

  Services were held at the Lewing Chapel on Monday, Aug. 19, at
11 a.m. Rev. Donnie Paul Lewing officiated. Burial was in the
Lewing Chapel Cemetery.

  Pallbearers were Mr. Lewing's grandsons, Mark Cavanaugh, Randy
Skidmore, Jerry Cavanaugh, Scott Eason, Matt Edzards, and Mike
Edzards.

  Survivors include his wife, Jewel Lewing of Many; four
daughters, Vera Eason, and Marie Skidmore of Many, Cleola
Cavanaugh of Temple, Tex., and Lynda Edzards of Paris, Tex.;
three sisters, Ocie Hammons, Valie Tedder, and Effie Conour, all
of Many; one brother, Cleveland P. Lewing, also of Many; 11
grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.

  Services were under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.
