Allen G. Lewing, Jr.

  Funeral services for Mr. Allen G. Lewing Jr., 61, were held
Thursday, April 26, at 4 p.m., at Florien First Baptist Church.
Interment followed in the Florien Cemetery, under the direction
of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Rev. Mack Brister, and Rev. Gil
Arthur officiated.

  Mr. Lewing died Tuesday, April 24, at Baynes Jones Hospital in
Fort Polk.

  He is survived by his wife, Nira Lewing of Florien; one son,
Cory Lewing of Florien; three daughters, Glinda Aklin, and Linda
Remedies, both of Zwolle, Cindy Wright of Florien; two sisters,
Marie Tynes of Ruston, and Sue Bailey of Shreveport; ten
grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
