Jewel Lewing

  Funeral services will be held for Mrs. O. G. Lewing, 87, at 11
a.m., on March 8, 1995, at Lewing Chapel Church, with interment
to follow in the Lewing Chapel Cemetery. This will be under the
direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Lewing died on March 6, 1995, at the Sabine Medical Center.

  She was born on April 8, 1907, in Sabine Parish, to Martha Tubbs
Newman, and Lycurqus Newman.

  Mrs. Lewing is survived by four daughters, Cera Eason of Many,
Cleola Cavanaugh of Many, Marie Skidmore of Many, and Linda
Edzards of Paris, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 19 great
grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

  Her pallbearers were her grandsons.
