Maggie Eloise Lewing

  Funeral services for Maggie Eloise Lewing were held at 4 p.m.,
April 11, 1995, in the Warren Meadows Chapel, with Donnie Paul
Lewing, and Wayne Horton officiating. Burial followed in the
Florien Cemetery. Lewing, 92, of Many, died April 8, 1995, in the
Heritage Manor Nursing Home #1.

  Survivors include her son, Harold Floyd Lewing of Monroe; two
daughters, Juanita Ross of Many, and Patsy Cooper of Lufkin,
Texas; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a host
of nieces, and nephews, and friends.

  She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Pat Lewing; and
grandson, Duke Cooper.

  She was born on March 3, 1903, in Old Loring, La., to General
Lee Derr and Melissa Hodge.
