All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Marie Lewing Funeral services for Mrs. Marie Lewing, 79, were held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 16, 1995, in Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Lamar Joy, and the Rev. Wayne Hicks officiated. Interment was in Pine Knott Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Mrs. Lewing died at Sabine Medical Center in Many, June 15. Mrs. Lewing was born in Fisher, March 13, 1916, to Davis and Ethel Marsh Clark Sr. Survivors include her widower, Mr. Curtis Lewing of Florien; five sons, Clarence Lewing, Wayne Lewing, Alton Lewing, Dean Lewing, all of Florien, and Jim Lewing of West Lake; two daughters, Evelyn Adams, and Kathleen Snider, both of Many; three sisters, Irene Eaves of Eugene, Ore., Ilene Hood of Abilene, Texas, and Hazel Strickland of Many; 15 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Mrs. Lewing was preceded in death by one son, Otis Lewing. Pallbearers were Charlie Brown, Bo Robertson, Ricky Snider, Bennett King, Kevin Lewing, Bob Robertson, Chad Lewing, and Charles Lewing.
