Dallas L. Lewing

  Funeral services for Dallas L. Lewing, 68, were held Friday,
Sept. 27, 1996, at 2 p.m., at Lewing Chapel Church in Many.
Interment was at the Lewing Chapel Cemetery, under the direction
of Les Fontaine Funeral Home.

  Mr. Lewing passed away at Schumpert Medical Center in
Shreveport, on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 3:30 p.m. He was a WWII
veteran from the USAF, and a retired lumber grader from Boise
Cascade.

  Mr. Lewing is survived by his wife, Glenda Pierce of Many; three
sons, Ricky Lewing, Eric Lewing, and Jeff Lewing, all of Many;
three daughters, Elizabeth Lewing Lester of Many, Dearma Lewing
Jacobs, and Glenda Lewing Simmons of Houston, Tex.; two sisters,
Patricia Byles of Many, and Louise Winterington of Mobile, Ala.;
two brothers, Douglas Lewing, and Doyle Lewing, both of Many;
seven grandchildren, Keith Leboueb of Houston, Tex., Derrick
Lewing, Justin Lewing, Amber Lewing, Hunter Lewing, Megan Lewing,
and Cole Lewing of Many.

  Pallbearers were Bobbie Hershberger, Ronnie Lewing, Billy
Knippers, Shawn Byles, Shannon Byles, Paul Gibbs, Tony Zinn, and
Ronald Springer.
