E. L. Lewing

  Edwin Lee Lewing, 65, of Shreveport, died Thursday, Feb. 20,
after an extended illness.

  He was a retired iron worker, had lived in Shreveport 25 years,
and was a native of Many. He was a member of the Pentecostal
Church.

  Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Mamie Durr, and Mrs. Lula
Leggett, both of Many.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Feb. 22, at the
Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel, by the Rev. Shelton Young, pastor
of Faith Tabernacle.

  Burial was at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery.
