Floyd Lewing

  Floyd Lewing passed from this life April 18, at the home of his
daughter, Carrie Stallworth. He was born June 24, 1884, to the
late Mrs. Liddie Hichman.

  He married Miss Suddie Morris, Oct. 18, 1905. Nine children were
born to them. Two children are deceased, and seven are living.

  He joined the St. Mary Baptist Church in 1928, under the
pastorship of the Rev. Tom Fraser.

  He leaves to mourn, a wife, Mrs. Suddie Lewing; 10 daughters,
Mrs. Carrie Stallworth, Mrs. Alma Spencer, Mrs. Lottie Williams,
Mrs. Nellie Neal, Mrs. Joella King, Mrs. Marie Newton, Mrs. Maxie
Spifes, Mrs. Dessie Edmonson, Mrs. Creola Williams, and Mrs. Mae
Bell Hudson; four sons, Eddie Lewing, T. L. Lewing, the Rev. T.
F. Simmons Lewing, and the Rev. French L. Lewing; 48
grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; and seven great-great
grandchildren; and a number of relatives and friends.
