Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Emmons Lewing (Photo)

  Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Emmons Lewing, 76, of Mansfield, died Feb.
27, 2002, in Shreveport.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., March 2, at Rose-Neath
Chapel in Mansfield, with interment following at Mansfield
Cemetery. Bro. Charles Duncan officiated.

  Survivors include her husband, Fisher Ray Lewing of Mansfield;
two daughters, Melinda Kay Ellis of Sunset, and Cheryl Jean
Lewing of Addison, Texas; one sister, Annie Ruth Bozeman of
Pleasant Hill; brother, Alton Emmons of Leesville; two grandsons,
Aaron Lewing, and Micah Emil Ellis; and one great granddaughter,
Molly Elisabeth Lewing.

  She was preceded in death by her parents, William O. and Mary
Lou Emmons; and a son, Michael David Lewing.

  Mrs. Lewing was a retired staff manager of Kilpatrick Life Ins.
Co. (KLIC).

  In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that memorials be made to
the Arthritis Foundation.

  Pallbearers were Aaron Lewing, Emil Ellis, Dr. Ben Leggin, Bud
Barrow, Joe Jacobs, and Brad Jacobs.
