Allen G. Lewing

  Funeral services were held Nov. 2, for Allen G. Lewing, 72, who
died Nov. 1, after a short illness.

  The services were held at Florien Baptist Church, with the Rev.
Henry Isgitt, and Rev. Cecil Knippers officiating.

  Burial was in Florien Cemetery, with Warren Meadows Funeral Home
in charge.

  Masonic graveside rites were held.

  Mr. Lewing was a member of the Police Jury for eight years, and
a member of the School Board for six years.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Allen Lewing of Florien; one son,
Allen Lewing Jr. of the U. S. Air Force; three daughters, Mrs.
Fred Lilly of Natchitoches, Mrs. A. G. Tynes of Natchitoches,
Mrs. Edward E. Bailey of Shreveport; 11 grandchildren; nine great
grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Junior Pickett, Roy Alford, Clarence Bullard,
Charlie Jett, Paul Ebarb, Nathan Wright, Garland Vines, John
McCollister.
