Sam C. Lewing

  Funeral services for Sam C. Lewing, 64, were held at 3:00 p.m.,
Nov. 9, at the Florien Baptist Church, with the Rev. Leeman
Manasco officiating.

  Burial was in Florien Cemetery, with Warren Funeral Home in
charge.

  Mr. Lewing died in a Shreveport hospital, after an extended
illness.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Leola Lewing of Fisher; three sons,
Ray of Mansfield, Sherman of Killeen, Texas, Herbert Lewing of
Florien; four daughters, Mrs. Johnnie Smith of Dallas, Texas,
Mrs. Bobbie Anthony of Fisher, Mrs. Benjamin Kenney of Munford,
Tenn., and Mrs. Bobbie Williams of Florien; one brother, Allen
Lewing of Florien; 15 grandchildren.
