Mrs. Effie Pearl Lewing

  Last rites for Mrs. Effie Pearl Lewing, age 60, who died Dec.
24, were conducted at Warren Funeral Home Chapel at 1:30 p.m.,
Dec. 26, with Rev. Clyde Barnhill, and Rev. Emory Lewis
officiating. Interment was under the direction of Warren Funeral
Home.

  Pallbearers were Cleve Lewing, Clyde Derr, Lawayne Horton,
Gilbert Tedder, and Bobby Hershler.

  Survivors are her husband, Aud Lewing of Many; sons, Thomas
Berry of West Columbus, Tex., Van Berry of Many; daughters, Mrs.
Naomi Laywell of Baldwin Park, Calif., Mrs. Ritha Grantham of
Belmont, Mrs. Vera Hayes of Marthaville, Mrs. Viola Lee, Fort
Worth, Mrs. Dorothy Blue of Shreveport, Mrs. Margarie Campbell of
Shreveport; brothers, Ross Fisher of New Gulf, Texas, Mayo, and
Clarence Fisher, both of Long Beach, Calif.; sister, Mrs. Viola
Clark of Houston; 22 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
