Dennis Hugh Linkous

  Dennis Hugh Linkous, 45, of Zwolle, died Wednesday, May 10,
2000, at Sabine Medical Center.

  Mr. Linkous was born Jan, 20, 1955, in Shreveport. He was a
member of the First Pentecostal church of Zwolle, and worked as a
roustabout in the oilfield.

  Services were held Friday, May 12, at 1 a.m., at the First
Pentecostal Church of Zwolle. Interment followed in the Zwolle
Cemetery, Under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. The
Rev. Phillip North officiated.

  He is survived by his grandmother, who raised him, and was known
as Mama, Mary Meshell from Zwolle; one sister, Lana Johnson,
(husband Ron) of Alexandria; one brother, Lloyd Saunders of
Zwolle; a very special friend, Stacie, of Zwolle; six uncles, one
aunt, and a host of nieces and nephews.
