The Sabine Index - Asa R. Langton 
  
  27 Feb 1948 - Asa R. Langton, age 65, died at his home after a 
long illness. Last rites were conducted from Little Flock Baptist 
church 2 p.m. Feb. 18 by Rev. C. M. Miers. Interment was under 
direction Massingill funeral home. 
  
  Mr. Langton is survived by his wife, Mrs. A. R. Langton, 
Columbas; sons, Tom and Elmo Langton, Columbus, S/Sgt Adrian 
Langton, Tacoma Wash.; daughters, Mrs. Ralph Vines, Clare, Mrs. 
Arthur D. Cook, Denver, Colo., Miss Winnie Faye Langton, 
Columbas; sister, Mrs. Nan McMillan, Hornbeck, and four 
grandchildren.
