Miss Ruby C. Langston

  Miss Ruby C. Langston, 88, of Clinton, Miss., died at her home
Saturday, March 3, 1984.

  Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 6, at the
Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Jackson, Miss., with burial
in the Lakewood Memorial Park.

  Miss Langston, a native of Jeff Davis County in Mississippi, was
a graduate of the public school, and Mississippi Woman's College.
She has been living near Clinton, Miss. Since 1924, where she
taught until her retirement in 1960.

  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Clinton, the
Clinton Chapter of Retired Persons, the National Retired
Teacher's Association, and the Clinton Homemakers Club.

  Miss Langston taught in the Sabine Parish School system in her
early career, and had many friends in Sabine Parish.
