Flora Jean Longoria

  Services for Mrs. Flora Jean Longoria, 32, of Shreveport, will
be at 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 15, at the Rose-Neath Funeral
Home's Southside Chapel. Retired Brigadier Elmer Capp of the
Salvation Army, will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Park
West Cemetery.

  She died at 3:50 p.m., Monday, Oct. 12, at LSU Medical Center,
after a short illness. Mrs. Longoria, born in Minden, and a
resident of Shreveport since 1951, was a housewife and member of
the Salvation Army.

  She is survived by her mother and father, Alon C., and Ella
Carpenter of Shreveport; sons, William Ray Longoria, and Tommy
Lee Longoria of Minden; paternal grandparents, Mrs. Bertha
Carpenter of Springhill; sisters Joyce Lafitte of Keithville, and
Alice Ezernack of Zwolle, and Margaret Remedies, and Barbara
Ezernack of Shreveport; and a brother, Roger Larry Carpenter of
Shreveport.

  Pallbearers will be Irvin Taylor George Timms, Billy Lyons,
Danny Lyons, Don Lafitte, and Conley Garrett.
