Lindsey, 75, of Shreveport, were Monday, at 2 p.m. in Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home Chapel of Coushatta, with burial Monday, May 10, in Hand Cemetery. The Rev. C. E. Baldwin, assisted by the Rev. Thurman Boatright, officiated. Mr. Lindsey died Saturday, May 8, at Willis-Knighton Hospital. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Alice Lindsey of Shreveport; seven sons, Willie L. Lindsey, and Arthur R. Lindsey, both of Coushatta, Billy Don Lindsey of Bossier City; Clifton J. Lindsey, Wiley W. Lindsey, Lonnie L. Lindsey, and Bobby Lindsey, all of Shreveport; four daughters, Mrs. Catherine Bridwell of Coushatta; Mrs. Bessie Williams of Pleasant Hill, Mrs. Helen Williams of Noble, and Mrs. Donnis DeLoach of Shreveport; two sisters, Mrs. Gill Miller of Minden, and Mrs. Mae Lee of Coushatta; 42 grandchildren; and 41 great grandchildren.
