Services were at 2 p.m., Saturday, in the Provencal Pentecostal Church, with the Revs. Q. T. Osborn, and Donald Windham officiating. Burial was in the Provencal Cemetery. Surviving are his widow; four sons, Ben D. Lindsey, and Sanford R. Lindsey, both of Baytown, Tex., Glen D. Lindsey of Tyler, Tex., and Larry F. Lindsey of Provencal; two sisters, Mrs. Virgie Jenkins, and Mrs. Daisy Reech, both of Jackson; five brothers, Hollis Lindsey, and Elwood Lindsey, both of Baton Rouge, Lester Lindsey of Dallas, Tex., Leroy Lindsey of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Winfred Lindsey of Greensburg; eight grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Glen D. Lindsey, a survivor, is a former Many resident, and was the linotype operator at the INDEX for several years.
