Lantrip, 82, of Florien, died March 16, at Many, after an extended illness. Funeral services were held Sunday, March 18, at 2 p.m., at the Prospect Methodist Church, with the Rev. Henry Pickett, and the Rev. Charles Scott officiating. Interment was in the Prospect Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ruby Lantrip of Florien; one son, Barron B. Lantrip of Magnolia, Miss.; two daughters, Mrs. Doris Murray of Lakewood, Col., and Miss Gay Lantrip of Lake Charles; three brothers, W. W. Lantrip of Memphis, Virgil Lantrip of Shreveport, and R. C. Lantrip of Marlow, Okla.; four sisters, Mrs. Mattie Cook of Shreveport, Mrs. Louise McDonald of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Inez Robinson, and Mrs. E. R. Harrington of Commanche, Okla., and four grandchildren.
