Landrum, were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 6, in the Simpson Church of God, with the Rev. Terry Adams, and Dr. Calvin Phelps officiating. Burial followed in the Welcome Cemetery, under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville. Mr. Landrum, 91, of Simpson, passed away, February 4, in the Rapides General Hospital in Alexandria. He was born in Sabine Parish, Oct. 28, 1899. He was a self employed carpenter and farmer. He was a member of the Simpson Church of God. Survivors include his wife, Olee H. Landrum of Simpson; one son, Harold "Buddy" Landrum of Bunkie; five daughters, Mrs. Earle Temple of Simpson, Yvonne Danzy of Bartlett, Tennessee, Mrs. Winnie Bennett of Winnfield, Jo Pedrojetti of Huntington Beach, California, and Joy Nash of Bunkie; one sister, Bessie Sneed of Florien; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. The family requests that anyone wishing to make contributions, may do so to the Simpson Church of God, Volunteers of America, Shreveport, La., and the First Baptist Church of Winnfield Building Fund. Serving as pallbearers were Randy Danzy, Trey Nash, James Nugent, Lydell Temple, Adron Temple Sr., Sam Turner. Honorary pallbearer was Willard G. Landrum.
