Calvary Baptist Church. The Rev. Bobby Brown officiated. Burial was in Garden of Memories, under the direction of Ridgley Funeral Home of Natchitoches. Mr. Landry died Tuesday, January 5, at 6:30 a.m., at Sabine Medical Center. He was born in Arnaudville, La., and was a resident of Zwolle. "Pop", as he was affectionately called, was respected and loved by the community, where he was self employed over fifty years. He leaves to mourn and cherish his memories, a loving and devoted wife, Mrs. Mary Liza Landry; three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Monore of San Diego, Calif.; Ms. Tia LaDonis Landry of New Orleans, La.; Ms. Mary Frances Landry of Leesville, La.; one step daughter, Ms. Philistine Smith of Zwolle; two sons, SN Michael Landry of Japan; Charlie Landry Jr. of Zwolle; two sisters, Ezola L. Thierry of Corpus Christi, Tex., Justine White of Opelousas, La.; one brother, Vanua Landrio of Port Arthur, Tex.; five brothers-in-law; six sisters-in-law; two God children, Mrs. Margaret F. Washington, and Mrs. Hattie F. White; the daughters of Mrs. Marguerite Ferguson; thirteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
