Lemoine, 73, of Clarence, died Sunday, Feb. 24, in the Natchitoches Parish Hospital, after a lengthy illness. The funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 26, in the Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Harry Barker officiating. Burial followed in the Clear Lake Cemetery near Goldonna. Survivors include his widow, Ida Lemoine; two sons, Donald Lemoine of Jackson, Miss., and Lawrence Lemoine of Robeline; three daughters, Dorothy Hall of Columbus, Ohio, Anita Mitchell of Robeline, and Jan Hamous of Eunice; four stepsons, Billy Grappe of Lufkin, Tex., Bobby Grappe, and Francis Grappe, both of Pasadena, Tex., and James Grappe of Houston, Tex.; one sister, Alma Catrette of Estawapa, Miss.; four brothers, Mitchell Lemoine of Pearland, Tex., Lawrence Lemoine of Temple, Tex., Floyd Lemoine of Natchitoches, and Walter Lemoine of Campti; 24 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
