Lemons, 81, of Many, were held at the Cedar Grove Baptist Church, Saturday, Oct. 20, at 10 a.m. Officiating were the Rev. H. H. Tibbitts, and the Rev. Burnley. Burial followed in the Cedar Grove Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers were Lonnie Presson, Mack Presson, Kenneth Murrell Jr., Michael Presson, Randy Veuleman, and Benny Knippers. Mr. Lemons died at 10 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 17, at Fraser Hospital North, following an extended illness. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ola Lemons of Many; two sons, Claude Lemons of Mt. Prospect, Ill., and Doyle Lemons of Houston, Tex.; two daughters, Audie Kedzieski, and Ponnie Thompson, both of Houston, Tex.,; three sisters, Emily Lemons of Duncan, Okla., Maudie Farrow of Purvis, Miss., and Grace Veuleman of Many; one brother, A. V. Lemons of Pasadena, Tex.; 14 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
