  Mrs. Sydney Lenard

  Mrs. Sydney Lenard, 52, of Arcadia died Friday in the Physicians
and Surgeons Hospital in Shreveport.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, in the
Conger Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. J. A. Beal officiating,
assisted by the Rev. Earl Marr. Burial was in the Union Cemetery.

  Survivors include her husband; two sons, S. H. Lenard and Art
Lenard, both of Arcadia; two daughters, Amanda Lenard and Mrs. Jo
Ann Anderson both of Arcadia; two brothers, Lee Hicks of Grosse
Tete and Drew Hicks of Natchitoches; four sisters, Mrs. Willie
Parks of Fordoche, Mrs. Ruby Sims of Grand Cane, Mrs. Pollie
Middleton of Marthaville and Mrs. Mary Lott of Natchitohces; and
two grandchildren.
