Mrs. Katie Leonard

  Funeral services were held Monday, February 28, at 2 p.m., for
Mrs. Katie Leonard, 85, of Natchitoches, at the Central Baptist
Church of Robeline. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
The Rev. Joe Mitchell officiated. Services were under direction
of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Leonard died Saturday, February 26, 1983, at 7:20 p.m., at
the Natchitoches Manor Nursing Home, where she resided.

  She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Wilma Reeves of Reeves,
Mrs. Estell Cobb, Benton, Mrs. Loree Anderson, Pleasant Hill, and
Mrs. Grace Bonnell, Iraan, Tex.; two sons, Claude L. Leonard,
Lafayette, and Lester W. Simmons, Natchitoches; three sisters,
Mrs. Lola Brown, Shreveport, Mrs. Fannie Marr, Many, and Mrs.
Irene Simpson, Many; one brother, Sammy Mitchell, Robeline; 22
grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; and a number of
great-great grandchildren, in addition to a host of nieces and
nephews.

  Pallbearers were Billy Wayne Bonnell, Jerry Bonnell, Reggie
Anders, Sonny Primm, Clarence Melton Cobbs, and Travis Cobbs.
