Services were held in the Central Church Saturday, April 9, at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Willie Prothro officiating. Burial was in the Central Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Survivors are his mother, Mrs. Katie Lenard of Pleasant Hill; his stepfather, Wilburn Lenard of Pleasant Hill; one son, Kenneth Ray Lenard; two daughters, Patricia Ann, and Wanda Louise Lenard; two brothers, Lester Simmons of Robeline, and Claud Lenard of Sulphur; and four sisters, Mrs. Wilma Reeves of Kinder, Mrs. Estelle Cobbs, and Mrs. Loree Anders, both of Pleasant Hill, and Mrs. Grace Bonnell of Iran, Texas. Pallbearers were Perry Powell, David Mitchell, Roger Faust, James Powell, Sammy Mitchell Jr., and Jimmy Colston.
