C. G. Weeks, the Rev. Bill White, and the Rev. Curtis Young officiating. Burial was in Clarks. Lowrey, 62, was a native of Goldonna, and was an employee of the traffic division of the city and parish. He was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Baton Rouge, and a veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Barbara Avis Lowrey; two sons, Raymond Lowrey of DeQuincy, and Capt. Sammy Lynn Lowrey, Jr. of Ft. Knox, Ky.; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Eason of Many, and Mrs. Minnie Maines of Goldonna; one brother, Aubrey Lowrey of Baton Rouge; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jerry Lowrey, Joe L. Farrow, Everette Austin, C. O. Albritton, Charles Irby, and Jack Duke.
