LeRoy, 73, died Tuesday in an Augusta hospital. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Martins Crossroads Congregational Holiness Church with the Revs. James Martin, Cullen Hicks and Steve Snider officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. LeRoy, a lifelong resident of Lincoln County, was a retired mechanic and attended Martins Crossroads Congregational Holiness Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Catherine (Katie) Rickerson LeRoy; one daughter, Mrs. Wanda L. Henderson, Florence, S.C.; five sons, Joseph A. LeRoy and Lamar LeRoy, Lincolnton, Ronnie LeRoy, Augusta, Michael LeRoy, Ebarb, La., and Donnie LeRoy, Alexandria, La., five sisters, Mrs. Maude L. Goolsby, Mrs. Mettie Ashmore, Miss Nettie LeRoy, Mrs. E.W. Smith, Lincolnton, Mrs. Ruth L. Lewis, Augusta; and one brother, Jack LeRoy, Lincolnton. Pallbearers will be Billy Smith, Jimmy Smith, Rickey LeRoy, Tom LeRoy, T.G. Ashmore, and Bill Goolsby. Friends may call at Rees Funeral Home or at the residence of Lamar LeRoy.
