Billy Laroux, 20, who died in a prison camp in Korea, February, 1951 was conducted at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 15 at Spring Ridge Baptist church with Chaplain Howell of Barksdale AFB, Shreveport officiating. Interment was in Spring Ridge cemetery under the direction of Warren Funeral Home with military rites at the graveside. Survivors are his father O. E. Laroux of Shreveport, mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Dorsey of Macon, Ga., sisters are Mrs. Margie Ebarb of Germany, Patsy Sue Laroux of Shreveport. Billy graduated from Fair Park High School Shreveport in 1949. He enlisted in the army soon after. He was overseas five months when captured. Died in February, 1951.
