Laroux, 87, formerly of Zwolle, were held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, August 2, at Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel. Officiating was Rev. Claude Spearman. Burial was in Forest Park. Mr. Laroux died Wednesday, July 31, at Willis-Knighton Medical Center, following a brief illness. He was born in Zwolle, and had been a resident of Zwolle since 1984. Mr. Laroux was a retired automobile mechanic for Blandino's Service Station, and a Baptist. He is survived by his wife, Marie Waldon Laroux of Shreveport; two daughters and sons-in-law, Margie and J. C. Meshell of Noble, and Patsy and Jerry Evans of Shreveport; one brother, Sam Laroux of Shreveport; seven grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
