Mr. Laroux passed away on Saturday, March 15. Officiating was Father David Richter, and Rev. Jerry Penfield. Interment was in St. Joseph Cemetery, under the direction of Les Fontaine Funeral Home. Lamar graduated from Zwolle High School, and was attending East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, Texas. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Hobert Laroux; and maternal grandparents, Jack and Berta Procell Laroux. He is survived by one son, Jacob Lamar Laroux of Zwolle; father, Gary "Pye" Laroux of Zwolle; and mother, Brenda Anderson of Texas; one sister, Jamie Laroux of Zwolle; paternal great grandmother, Lydia Procell Ebarb of Zwolle; and paternal grandmother, Alice Laroux Ezernack of Zwolle; uncles, Kenneth "Chooch" Laroux of Converse, Bob Laroux of Zwolle, Frank "Tank" Laroux of Bossier City, and Darrell "Dottie" Laroux of Zwolle, Jimmy Ray Anderson, and Harold Anderson of Zwolle, Jackie Anderson of Orange, Texas; great grandmother, Lydia Procell Ebarb of Zwolle; one aunt, Mary Lou Pickering of Tyler, Texas; two nephews, Corey, and Darien Laroux of Zwolle; and great aunt, Melva Ebarb of Zwolle; cousins, Mike Laroux, Waylon Laroux, Krystal Laroux, and Sable Laroux; and a host of friends. Pallbearers were David Remedies, Richard Armstrong, Anthony Parrie, Robert Bender, Christopher Rivers, Jeremy Sepulvado, Phil Carhee, and Levester Lynch. Honorary pallbearers were Heath Lewis, Zwolle Hawks, and East Texas Baptist University Basketball Teams.
