Frank Laurence

  The Rev. Frank Laurence, 80, died Monday evening, July 20, at his residence in Oakdale.
Bro. Laurence was a native of Toro.

  Funeral services will be held at the West Baptist Bible Church, with the Rev. J. Boyd
Davis of Beaumont officiating. Burial will be in Prewitt's Chapel Cemetery in Hornbeck,
under the direction of the Rush Funeral Home of Oakdale.

  Surviving relatives include his wife Emma Laurence; five sons, Davis of Anacoco, Nathan
of West Lake, Mrs. Rille Prewitt of Anacoco, Mrs. Ruthie Hilton of Hornbeck, Mrs. Myrtle
Daniel of Behrain Arabian Gulf, and Mrs. Maggie Harvey of Pitkin; a brother, Albert Cap
Laurence of Toro; a sister, Mrs. Lizzie Freeman of Hornbeck; 24 grandchildren; 19
great-grandchildren; 77 direct descendants.
