Burial was in the Prewitts Chapel Cemetery, under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville. Mr. Laurence, 60, of Singingwood Lane, Bristol, Virginia, died Monday, Nov. 4, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. At the time of his death, he was serving as pastor of Singingwood Baptist Church in Bristol, Virginia. He is survived by his wife, Sherry Johnson Laurence of Bristol, Va.; two sons, Steven Laurence of Seaford, Fla., and Dwight Laurence of Anacoco, La.; one daughter, Mrs. LaJunan Laurence Chance of Anacoco, La.; one stepson, Darrin Fuselier of Bristol, Tenn.; one step daughter, LaRhonda Fuselier Goodman of Bristol, Va.; four sisters, Ruthie Hilton, Moss Bluff, La., Maggie Harvey of Pitkin, La., Myrtle Daniels of Alexandria, La., and Rilla Prewitt of Anacoco, La.; two brothers, Nathan Laurence of West Lake, La., and Homer Laurence of Denham Springs, La.; sisters-in-law, Daisy Laurence of Anacoco, La., and Nadine Laurence of Denham Springs, La. Pallbearers were Tommy Chance, Chris Kuhlmeyer, Ricky Laurence, Keith Laurence, Michael Laurence, Harold Richmond, Louis Perkins, James Johnson, Lynn Laurence, and Kevin Prewitt.
