Robert Lee Laurence

  Services for Mr. Robert Lee Laurence, 71, were held at 10 a.m.,
Thursday, January 21, 1993, at Pisgah Baptist Church. Officiating
was the Rev. Harvey Hoffman, and Rev. Johnny Garrett. Burial was
held in Pisgah Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Mr. Laurence died Monday, January 18, 1993, at his residence in
Florien.

  He is preceded in death by a son, Bobby Laurence.

  He is survived by his wife, Ollie Laurence of Toro Community;
six sons, Jack Laurence of Toro Community, Ronnie Laurence of
Toro community, Donnie Laurence of Florien, Danny Laurence of
Hornbeck, Darrell Nash of Watertown, Mass., and Densil Nash of
Hicks; two daughters, Shirley Behan, and Kathy Rains, both of
Toro Community; twenty three grandchildren; ten great
grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Special thanks to Crimson River Quartet, who provided music, the
Disabled Veterans, and Women Auxiliary from Hornbeck, for their
participation at graveside services, and Dr. Harvey Hoffman, and
Rev. Johnny Garrett, Floyd Giblin and staff at Warren Meadows.

  Pallbearers were Kenneth Alford, Jessie Laurence, Wilbur Ray
Moss, Kirk Smith, James (Snucom) Cook. Also pallbearers were his
grandsons, Robbie Laurence, Dewayne Raines, and Keith Lee Behan.
