Mr. Clarence Earl Mahaffey

  Mr. Clarence Earl Mahaffey, 73, of Many, died Thursday, July 30,
1998, at his residence.

  Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, July 31, at
Lakeside Baptist Church Cemetery. A U.S. Army Chaplain
officiated. Military services were held.

  Survivors include four sisters, Imozell Burris of Texarkana,
Texas, Lurlene Gabler of Florien, Eula Vee Cox of Anacoco, and
Muriel Royal of Montana; two brothers, Jess A. Mahaffey of Many,
and Cecil G. Mahaffey of Texarkana, Texas; and a host of nieces
and nephews.

  Ft. Polk Honor Guard served as pallbearers.
