John Henry Moffitt

  John Henry Moffitt, 68, of Prairieville, died Sunday, Feb. 11,
in a Baton Rouge hospital, after a long illness.

  The funeral was held Monday, Feb. 12, in Welsh Funeral Home
Chapel in Gonzales, with the Rev. Boyd Hodd officiating.
Graveside services followed in the American Cemetery in
Natchitoches.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Edith Moffitt of Prairieville;
two sons, Robert Moffitt, and Michael Moffitt, both of New
Orleans; two sisters, Gladys Moffitt, and Janice Moffitt, both of
Pleasant Hill; and one brother, Hamp Moffitt of Homer.
