The Sabine Index - Mrs. John J. Moffett

  31 Oct 1941 - Last rites for Mrs. John J. Moffett, age 81 years,
will be Friday morning at 10 o'clock at Beulah, Rev. W. J. Ross
and Rev. Frank Roberts officiating. Interment will be in the
Beulah cemetery, Dennis-Green funeral home directing.

  Pallbearers: Fred Moffett, Milton Moffett, Ralph Moffett, Jack
Bullert, Hamp Moffett and J. W. Moffett.

  Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Rhoda Wade Moffett, Pleasant Hill;
eight sons, T. H. of Pleasant Hill, J. W. of Pleasant Hill, E. P.
of Heneritta, Texas, J. E. of Stanton, Texas, S. W. of Oklahoma
City, Okla., L. B. of Many, R. L. of Seminole, Texas, O. W. of
Pleasant Hill; four daughter, Mrs. M. D. Bell of Marthaville,
Mrs. T. G. Gass of Marthaville, Mrs. W. A. Ross of Pleasant Hill
and Mrs. Betty K. McFerin of Homer; 33 grandchildren and 22
great-grandchildren.

  Mrs. Moffett passed away Thursday morning about 3 a.m. Her
husband, John J. Moffett, passed on Sunday of this week, funeral
rites being held Monday.
