The Rev. Vernon Stephenson, and the Rev. Gayle Dean officiated. Burial was at Spring Ridge Cemetery near Pleasant Hill, under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield. Mrs. Moffett lay in state at her residence in Pleasant Hill, beginning at 4 p.m., Monday. Mrs. Moffett, a lifelong resident of Pleasant Hill, died Monday morning, Dec. 28, at Pleasant Hill Hospital, after a brief illness. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pleasant Hill. She is survived by two sons, Raymond Orel Cobbs of Shreveport, and Hollis G. Harris of Many; two daughters, Elaine Cobbs Freeman, and Norma Harris Urda, both of Pleasant Hill; one sister, Mollie Moody of Shreveport; two brothers, Homer Cox of Pleasant Hill, and Larry Cox of Many; 13 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were grandsons.
