  Laura Lee Moffett - May 5, 1988

  Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Lee Moffett of Many were held at
the First United Methodist Church of Many on Saturday, April 30
at 2 p.m. Church pastor, the Rev. Louis M. Coppage Jr.
officiated.

  Burial was in Many Cemetery under the direction of the Warren
Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Moffett, who had been a resident of Many for the past 52
years, died on Wednesday, April 27 at Willis Knighton Medical
Center in Shreveport following a brief illness. She was 95.

  Survivors include one son, Fred Moffett of Shreveport; two
daughters, Evelyn M. Fraser of Many and Marguerite M. Parsons of
Shreveport; nine grandchildren, Frederick M. Fraser of Lafayette,
Dr. Warren M. Fraser of Baton Rouge, John M. Parsons, Jennifer
Belanger, Susan Moffett, Chris B. Parsons, all of Shreveport,
Brian B. Parsons of Houston, Tex., and Laura Lee Moffett and Mary
Moffett, both of Dallas; and 16 grandchildren. She was preceded
in death by her husband, L. B. Moffett.

  Pallbearers were her grandsons and a great grandson, Patrick
Parson.
