Mrs. Tom Moffett

  Funeral services for Mrs. Tom Moffett, 87, who died Saturday,
Jan. 16, in the Pleasant Hill Hospital, after a brief illness,
were held at 10 a.m., Monday, in the First Baptist Church of
Pleasant Hill.

  The Rev. J. C. Salley officiated, assisted by two former
pastors, the Rev. J. I. Funderburk, and the Rev. Hagen.

  Active pallbearers were Tom Cole, Marcus Middleton, Luther
Dillard, Jack Dykes, R. J. Bridges, and Otho Woods. Burial was in
the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Drewett
Funeral Home of Mansfield.

  Mrs. Moffett is survived by her husband; three daughters, Mrs.
Hattie Valentine of Corpus Christi, Tex., Mrs. Sam Darnell of
Clinton, Okla., and Miss Grace Moffett of Houston, Tex.; one son,
Hubert Moffett of New Orleans; two granddaughters, two great
grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
