O. W. "Bud" Moffett

  Funeral services were held for O. W. "Bud" Moffett, 60, who died
August 25.

  The services were held at the First Baptist Church, Pleasant
Hill, La., with the Rev. Alford Mitchell, and the Rev. J. C.
Salley officiating. Burial was in Spring Ridge Cemetery.

  Mr. Moffett was a lifelong resident of Pleasant Hill, and a
retired oil field worker.

  Survivors are his wife; one son, Rev. Jimmy Moffett, Memphis,
Tenn.; two stepsons, Hollis Gene Harris, Pleasant Hill, R. Orel
Cobbs, Shreveport; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Elaine Freeman, Mrs.
John P. Urda, both of Pleasant Hill; four sisters, Mrs. Sweet
Ross, Mrs. Betty K. Meadows of Shreveport, Mrs. Annie Glass,
Pleasant Hill, Mrs. Carrie Bell, Robeline; three brothers, Larry,
Wade, and Tom Moffett, all of Pleasant Hill; 15 grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were T. W. Hardee III, Jerry Gregory, Jack Dykes,
Bruce Robicheaux, Archie Moore, O. Q. Whittington.
