J. W. Moffett

  Funeral services for J. W. Moffett, 79, were held Sunday, Jan.
3, in the Spring Ridge Methodist Church, with the Rev. W.
Prothro, and the Rev. H. S. Laidlaw officiating. Burial was in
the church cemetery, under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home.

  Mr. Moffett died Saturday, Jan. 2, at his home in Pleasant Hill,
after a lengthy illness.

  Survivors include his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Marlene
Youngblood, and Mrs. Vera Tennison of Houston, Tex.; a son, Doyle
Moffett of Shreveport; four sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Ross, and
Mrs. Betty Meadows of Shreveport, Mrs. Annie Glass of Pleasant
Hill, and Mrs. Carrie Bell of Robeline; five brothers, S. W., O.
W., and Tom Moffett of Pleasant Hill, L. B. Moffett of Many, and
Larry Moffett of Lewisville, Ark.; and a granddaughter.
