Mabry passed away in Houston, Tex., Oct. 1, at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Josie Lee. Burial was at Noble, Oct. 3, under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield. Mr. and Mrs. Mabry were early settlers of Sabine Parish, having come from Union Parish about 1898. They lived in Noble until Mr. Mabry's death some years ago. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Bernice Franklin of El Paso, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Eugenia Byrum, and Mrs. Ophelia Thaxton of Union Parish; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
