Mr. Melvin "Jake" Muse

  Mr. Melvin "Jake" Muse, 86, of Many died Tuesday, Sept. 16, at Sabine Medical
Center.

  Funeral services were held 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, at Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter Day Saints in Many with interment following at Mt. Carmel
Cemetery in Florien. Bro. J. Michael Slay officiated.

  Survivors include two daughters, Katherine Timon of Natchitoches and Delores
Vines of Many; one son, Charles D. Muse of Winnfield; one sister, Lucille
Wright of Many; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
