The Sabine Index - Jessie Maxie

  11 Jul 1952 - Funeral rites for Jessie Maxie, 18, who passed
away at a Shreveport hospital 11:25 a.m. Thursday of last week,
were conducted 9 a.m. Saturday at Fisher Baptist church by Rev.
Glen Marr. Interment followed in Pine Knott cemetery under
direction Warren funeral home.

  Pallbearers were Sid Hays, G. W. House, Mason Tynes, Herbert
Small, S. Q. Nichols, and M. C. McDonald.

  Surviving relatives include: parents, Mrs. and Mrs.
Leamon Maxie, Fisher; brothers, Glen, Carl and Henry Doyle Maxie,
all of Fisher; sister, Miss Mary Maxie, Fisher; grandmother, Mrs.
Ida Bobbitt, Kountze, Texas.
