All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** The Sabine Index - Mrs. Mollie Ann Muse 2 Sep 1949 - Funeral rites for Mrs. Mollie Ann Muse, who died at her home here 11 a.m. Friday were held in the Latter Day Saints chapel at 10 a.m. Sunday, Elder J. Wesley Morris officiated, assisted by Elder D. W. Judd under direction Massingill funeral home. Interment was in the family cemetery. Pallbearers were: Rupert McKaskle, C. A. Hoagland, Hubert Andries, Cecil Wright, Horace Tompkins and A. M. Wagley. Mrs. Muse was born April 22, 1875, and was the mother of 11 children. Mrs. Muse accepted the gospel in her early married life, to which she remained true and an active member in her unassuming and charitable manner. Many found comfort and consolation in her home. Her home was especially open to the missionaries at all times. This an many other acts of kindness showed the greatness of a Christian who will long be remembered. Surviving relives are: W. M. Muse, Salt Lake City, Utah; R. E. Muse, Many; Mrs. William Stickland, Alexandria M. D. Muse, Mrs. J. J. Wright and R. I. Muse, Many; 21 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
