Walter Harold Maxey

  Walter Harold Maxey, 68, of Many, died Aug. 17, at 10:30 p.m.,
after an extended illness.

  He is survived by his wife, Nettie Maxey of Many; one son,
George Maxey of Many; one daughter, Georgia Armour of Houston;
his father, Walter Maxey of Many; two brothers, Horace Maxey, and
Claude Maxey, both of Many; four sisters, Annie Guay, and Lois
Neel, both of Many, Mildred Marr of Shreveport, and Catherine
Neal of Port Arthur, Tex.; 3 grandchildren, and 1 great
grandchild.

  Funeral services were held in the Oak Hill Baptist Church,
Friday, Aug. 19, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Guy Burr officiating.
He was assisted by the Rev. Hoy Leach. Burial was in the Oak Hill
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
