The Sabine Index - Louis Maxey

  14 Jun 2000 - Louis Maxey, 88, of Many died Saturday, June
10, 2000 at Sabine Medical Center. He was born Feb. 20, 1912 in
Sabine County, Texas.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 12 at
Aimwell Baptist Church with interment following at Aimwell
Cemetery. Dr. Vernon Stephenson, the Rev. Charles Duncan and the
Rev. Steve Neesley officiated.

  Survivors include one son, R. L. Maxey of Many; two
daughters, Thelma Anderson of Shreveport and Ruth Seabaugh of
Carthage, Texas; two step-daughters, Bennie Roberts of Garland,
Texas and Jackie Faye Daniel of Columbus, S.C.; three sisters,
Mattielea Maxey of Zwolle, Nannie Brandon of Zwolle, and Mary
Partain of of Carry, Texas; two brothers, Paul Maxey of Noble and
Billy Maxey of Belmont; six grandchildren; five
step-grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; five
step-great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a host of
nieces and nephews.
