The Sabine Index - Thomas J. Maxey

  27 Mar 1943 - Last rites for Thomas J. Maxey, age 86 years, were
held Friday at 11 o'clock at Aimwell Baptist church, Rev. J. P.
Stockman officiating. Interment Aimwell cemetery, Dennis-Green
funeral home in charge.

  Surviving are seven children, five sons, Jack, Otis, T. C. and
Clinton of Many, Bill of New Iberia; two daughters, Mrs. Callie
Smith and Mrs. B. J. Smith of Shreveport, and four grandchildren.

  Mr. Maxey, or Uncle Tom as he was known to his many friends, is
the last of a large family, nine brothers and sisters preceding
him. He leaves a large number of relatives and friends to mourn
his passing.
