Services were at 3 p.m., Monday, August 2, at Fellowship Baptist Church near Converse. The Revs. Ray Jenkins, and Dan Jones, pastors at the Fellowship Baptist Church, officiated. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Drewetts Funeral Home in Mansfield was in charge of arrangements. A native and lifelong resident of Converse, Mr. Magee was a retired oil field worker, and member of Midway Baptist Church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Bernice Sherwood Magee, Converse; a son, Henry Seth Magee, Shreveport; daughter, Mrs. Martha Lou Trimble, Converse; sister, Mrs. Tudie Cloud, Converse,; brother, Wilbur Franklin Magee, Colorado Springs, Colorado; and four grandchildren. Pallbearers are Dennis Cates, Tony Cates, Mike Magee, O. B. Furlow, Novis Burkett, Will Burkett, Clayton Hunter, and Lester Goins.
